Albany International Corp. has agreed to acquire Harris Corporation’s composite aero-structures division for US$210 million, including the assumption of a US$23 million capital lease.
Textiles and material processing company Albany International has two core businesses - Machine Clothing - producer of custom fabrics and belts for production in the paper, nonwovens, and other process industries, and Albany Engineered Composites, a supplier of engineered composite parts for the aerospace industry.
