Groz-Beckert is to further extend its portfolio by acquiring Belgium-headquartered Bekaert’s Carding Solutions business, which specialises in card wires and clothing for short staple, nonwovens, wool and worsted applications.
The transaction covers carding production facilities in Belgium, India, China and the USA, along with a global sales services network which in its last fiscal year generated €26 million in revenues.
