GENEVA - Nonwoven fabric manufacturers are implementing a series of innovative technologies such as particle capture, pressure drop and digital twins to optimise their fabrics for cleaner, smarter and smoother filtration.
According to the latest newsletter issued by Palexpo for the INDEX exhibition, which next takes place from May 19-22 2026, optimising the efficiency of a nonwoven filter fabric is fundamentally about achieving the perfect balance between the engineered material’s capacity to capture and hold particles and its pressure drop – its resistance to the air, liquid or gas that is being passed through it.
