Winterthur - Automotive specialist Autoneum has enhanced the sustainability credentials of its carpet systems with the development of a new backing system. Already manufactured with a significant level of recycled fibres, Autoneum has now introduced an alternative backcoating (ABC) process, which replaces the latex commonly used in standard backcoatings with thermoplastic material.
