Weinheim - Freudenberg Performance Materials has developed Battery Pack Liquid Absorbers which can be used to prevent water condensation and coolant leaks damaging lithium-ion battery packs

The absorbent pads, which have adjustable absorption capacity and custom geometries, are designed to capture and reliably store unwanted liquids which can significantly diminish the batteries' function and lifetime.
