WINTERTHUR – Automotive component supplier, Autoneum, has launched Clean-Tuft technology, tufted carpets which the company claims offer high performance acoustic insulation and water repellency in a lightweight design.
In an effort to model the technology capabilities to car manufacturers during pre-development, Autoneum has also developed the Carpet Cleanability Analyzer – a measurement system designed to compare how easy to clean a surface is.
