Ahlstrom, the producer of high performance nonwovens, is to make a sizeable investment in its Binzhou wallcoverings production line in China.
The funds will be used to modify the production line so that, in addition to wallcovering materials, it is also capable of producing filter media. It is planned that the re-engineering work will be completed by April 2016 and the annual capacity of the line will increase to around 20,000 metric tons of wallcovering or filter products.
