dram1DreamWeaver International has announced a new partnership with wetlaid and airlaid nonwovens major Glatfelter to develop and manufacture the next generation of high performance and affordable separators for energy storage devices such as lithium-ion batteries and ultra capacitors.

Dreamweaver – a company founded by former PGI CEO Jim Schaffer and Brian Morrin, who after serving with Milliken and Dupont went on to found Integrity, the developer of the highly successful Innegra hybrid aramid fibres  – has developed a new nonwoven battery separator made from a combination of nanofibres and microfibres.
