Environmental news and technical innovation in the nonwovens sector

WEINHEIM – German manufacturer Freudenberg Performance Materials brings experts and users together to discuss the potential of performance and lightweight materials in the realization of climate neutral and emission-free mobility concepts.

Normally, R & D experts, sales representatives, and decision makers would meet at trade fairs to discuss future-oriented technologies and market trends. As international trade fairs are currently not an option, creative ideas are needed to continue the dialogue with industry partners and customers.

With a virtual interactive live event on the future of mobility, Freudenberg Performance Materials offers the opportunity to discuss future-oriented automotive concepts with renowned futurologist Matthias Horx and research & development experts from international players such as Riversimple, Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE, and Freudenberg Performance Materials.

The web-based event “Climate neutral and emission-free mobility – an illusion?” takes place on 10th December 2020 from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. (EST) and focuses on the potential of performance and lightweight materials for the development of sustainable mobility concepts for tomorrow.

Futurologist and sociologist Matthias Horx will provide an outline of the challenges, mobility concepts will have to tackle in the near future. Specialists will offer insights into innovative technologies in the fields of car acoustics, fuel cells, lightweight bodywork construction, gas diffusion layers, and friction inserts that will enable car manufacturers to realize sustainable, emission-free and climate neutral mobility solutions.

“The evolution of mobility is both an aspiration and a challenge for us – our aim is to make a significant contribution with innovative products”, says Dr Frank Heislitz, CEO, Freudenberg Performance Materials. Professionals who are interested in participating in Freudenberg’s virtual live event will find additional information on https://www.freudenberg-pm.com/Virtual-Live-Events or directly register here.
