BRUSSELS – Nonwovens Association EDANA has chosen 15 students or researchers eligible for its 2017 Nonwovens R&D Student Grant. The grant covers all participation costs for those chosen to attend the Nonwovens Innovation Academy (NIA) hosted by the Saxon Textile Research Institute (STFI) at its new Centre of Textile Lightweight Engineering in Chemnitz, Germany, from 25 – 26 October.

The initiative was introduced by the NIA in 2006, in a bid to encourage the development of technical understanding and research within the industry, as well as to support innovation and growth in related industries going forward.
