Key topics will include:

  • What’s new in machinery.
  • Recycling or repurposing scraps from the automotive manufacturing process.
  • Flame retardancy – the latest on government regulations and compliant finishes.
  • Innovations in fibres.
  • Lightweighting in transportation.
  • Nanocoating applications for flame retardancy.
  • Market research and statistics.

Also at CAB 2014 will be a condensed version of the popular INDA Elementary Nonwovens Training Course tailored to converting and bonding technologies. The Elementary Training session will kick off the CAB 2014 event Tuesday morning.

“CAB 2014 will be a truly unique event focused on market segment needs served largely by needlepunched fabrics and the various converting processes applied to them to meet those needs,” said INDA president Dave Rousse. “From the latest in nanotechnology to recycling or repurposing scrap material, CAB attendees will discover thought-provoking, leading edge information that will benefit their organisations. CAB 2014 is a must-attend event for professionals serving fabric needs in the automotive and furnishings market segments.”
