SHENZEN – BYD, the Chinese electric vehicles and smart phones manufacturer which is backed by Warren Buffet, has announced that it has rapidly created the world’s largest mass-produced nonwoven face masks plant.

The plant is now running at full capacity and is able to produce five million masks a day, in addition to 300,000 bottles of disinfectants, in response to the severe shortages that have affected hospitals and agencies across China in the face of the global Covid-19 outbreak.
