CORNELIUS - Nonwoven and recycling solutions supplier Allertex of America Ltd. has signed an agreement with Spain’s Margasa to represent it in the key United States and Canada markets.

Margasa has more than 50 years of experience with engineering projects and supplies a range of different machinery for both textile recycling and the nonwovens sector.

Exporting to more than 40 countries worldwide, its offering includes recycling technology for garment Industry cut-offs, long or short fibre thread waste, loom selvedge, waste from synthetic fibres, clothing pre- and post-consumption and nonwoven materials.

It also supplies complete lines for cleaning dirty cotton from spinning (preparation, carding machines) or cotton gins.

Together, North Carolina-based Allertex and Margasa say they are looking forward to “a great future serving the industry providing solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction”.

“Should you be looking at simply edge trim opening or a full six-cylinder line up to and including bailing then you need to be talking to us for a great deal,” Allertex said in a statement. “The final product after recycling is fibre that can return to the start of the textile process, either to manufacture new yarn, or for nonwoven production.”
